A large group of employees teamed up with Kechara Soup Kitchen one recent Saturday to go out into the community with basic essentials and supplies for those in need. Dividing into groups, the volunteers visited a number of families, many of them living in cramped, challenging conditions and several with health problems. In some cases, there is only one member of the family who is able enough to support their needs, which aside from food items include clothing and basic household equipment. It was an eye-opening experience for those who took part in the event to see the tough times that many Malaysians are enduring on a daily basis.
