MiHCM Launches Digital HR App For Remote Workforce

As businesses around the world take steps to ensure that their employees remain connected and engaged, MiHCM has announced the release of MiHCM HR for Microsoft Teams to empower companies to manage their workforce remotely. The company has also extended the features of its cloud-based Digital HR platform to enable MiHCM users to manage their day-to-day HR operations more conveniently.

MiHCM HR for Microsoft Teams will allow companies to manage their human resource operations with check-in/out facilities, leave applications, preview payslips, submit timesheets and leave balance checking. Employees will be able to escalate a range of service requests to HR, such as requesting letters, documents, infrastructure or reporting work-related issues.

MiHCM is making the app available to existing SMB clients who use Microsoft Teams applications free of charge during the COVID-19 pandemic. A nominal fee will be applicable for corporate/enterprise and new clients in need of secure and scalable remote access work solutions. It is the first HR app to be made available by an independent software vendor in the Asia Pacific Region on the Microsoft Teams App Store.

MiHCM clients can directly locate and install MiHCM HR for Microsoft Teams on the Microsoft Teams app while non-MiHCM users can leverage the app by integrating it with their third-party HR system via secure APIs. The app currently supports employees to perform essential Core HR tasks; however, we will be adding more functionality with frequent updates to enable the workforce to submit all the key service requests. added Harsha.

MiHCM for SMB & Enterprise enables small and medium businesses to leverage cloud-enabled technology to manage essential Core HR to talent management remotely. “While the app supports employees with essential HR task execution, our MiHCM SMB & Enterprise solutions will enable HR professionals to continue their HR tasks from remote locations. We intend to offer these solutions with significant discounted pricing and waivers during this period,” added Harsha.

The platform offers complete functionality in administering end-to-end operational HR functions - including managing employee profiles, organization hierarchy, tracking, and processing employee attendance and payroll. Talent management including performance management, talent acquisition, learning management, succession planning and compensation and benefits are additional features. This is achieved through an inclusive and interactive real-time HR system for web and mobile that is cost-effective, quick and easy to implement.
